Product Demonstration
Product Demonstrations are sessions where various free software tools & products which are available in the public domain will be demonstrated to public.
Who can organise ?
Product Demonstrations can be organised by
- Teachers
- Students
- Software Developers
- Service providers
- Users
- Industries
- Free lance professionals
- Educational Institutions
Modus of operandi
1. Existing General Public License (GPL) software applications can be showcased and demonstrated
2. Existing commercial products which are non-GPL can be declared GPL in the Conference.
3. Developers and Service Providers can showcase many of the products which they deal with
4. The student community is expected to explore and discover many GPL software applications which are hitherto unknown in the market place. These applications have to be studied by the students and demonstrated before the prospective users
5. The organiser of the Product Demonstration should get the prior consent of the Exhibition Committee.
6. On approval by the Exhibition Committee your session will be included in the Programme Chart and there will be space allotted to you in the Conference.
How to Register ?
1. Delegates who have been assigned User name should log in to the Event Registration page and register for the Product Demonstration separately giving a brief description of the subject

Open Forum
Open Forums are sessions which the participants themselves can organise. These forums are intended to bring together FOSS activists and activists in other domains and strike a resonance cord between them.
Who can organise ?
Open Forums can be organised by
- Social activists working in any domain of social life
- Teachers
- Students
- Software Developers
- Service Providers
- Users
- Industries
- Free lance professionals
- Educational Institutions
Modus of operandi
1. The topics should be those which are in tandem with the ideology of Free Software or Free Knowledge or Free Humanity.
2. The organiser of the Open Forum should get the prior consent of the Programme Committee.
3. On approval by the Programme Committee your session will be included in the Programme Chart and there will be space allotted to you in the Conference.
How to Register ?
1. Delegates who have been assigned User name should log in to the Event Registration page and register for the Open Forum separately giving a brief description of the subject

Workshop
Workshops are tutorial sessions on certain topics, say, LINUX INSTALLATION, LOCAL LANGUAGE COMPUTING, STATISTICAL ANALYSIS TOOLS etc.

Workshops can be organised by
- Teachers
- Students
- Software Developers
- Service providers
- Users
- Industries
- Free lance professionals
- Educational Institutions
Modus of operandi
1. Workshops can be One-time sessions or Recurring sessions (conducted throughout the Conference).
2. The sessions may be classroom based or practical.
3. The organiser of the Workshop should get the prior consent of the Programme Committee.
4. On approval by the Programme Committee your session will be included in the Programme Chart and there will be space allotted to you in the Conference.
